The Lewiston location of Head to Toe PT is located within the same building as the Health Club & Spa. The Health Club is a great benefit to Head to Toe PT, allowing for full access to their heated indoor pool, exercise equiptment and much more. The staff at the Health Club and Spa are very welcoming and inviting, creating a non-intimidating environment. They also offer an extensive list of classes for all ability levels and even several classes offered within the pool! After your physical therapy treatment is complete, or even durring your treatment with Head to Toe PT, the Health Club and Spa offers a 15% discount for anyone wishing to join their facility. The Sisters WishThe Sisters Wish is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to "provide terminally or chronically ill young adults with a wish that will in some way improve their quality of life." Throughout fundraising events, The Sisters Wish is able to provide a lasting memory in a time of need. Jill Partridge (co-owner of Head to Toe PT) is on the board of directors for The Sisters Wish and actively involved in fundraising and making a difference. Midcoast Hunger Prevention Program Food DriveThroughout the month of October and November, Head to Toe Physical Therapy collected nonperishable food donations to benefit the Midcoast Hunger Prevention Program. With the help of family, friends and the community, we were able to collect 3 large boxes of items along with a few cash donations.
These donations benefit families throughout the Topsham, Lisbon, Lisbon Falls, Brunswick, Harpswell, Durham, Bowdoin and Bowdoinham communities and will undoubtedly makes the lives of many Maine families a little brighter this holiday season.
We at Head to Toe PT, are continually humbled by the generosity and support received and will continue to find ways to give back to the community around us.
American Heart Association, Central Maine Heart Walk In September of 2011, the staff, family and friends of Head to Toe Physical Therapy participated in the American Heart Association, Central Maine Heart Walk. This was the first year Head to Toe participated in this paticular fundraising walk and everyone had a blast raising money for a very important cause.
Initially the Head to Toe PT team set a modest goal of raising $1,000. After one week of reaching out to our friends, family and community, combined with a little healthy competition, our goal had been met. When all was said and done, Head to Toe Physical Therapy raised a little over $2300 earning the spot as "Top New Company".
On Friday February 3rd, 2012 we will continue our fundraising efforts with the American Heart Association by supporting "National Wear Red Day." The staff of Head to Toe PT will wear red on this day to raise funds and support heart disease research, the number one killer of women. Thank you for all of your past, present and future support of such an important cause.
